Sunflowers in the Field

awakening at dawn

It was just cool enough so that dew was forming, and I parked along the side of a dirt road and wandered into the field, early enough before the bees started their busy work. The light from the sun was rising and hit the petals of the flowers in a remarkable way. I saw shadows and textures you just don't see in the stereotypical sunflower photo. I'm thrilled with the ability to be able to share these photos with you.

Giclee Fine Art Prints Available

In this gallery, I'm offering Giclee Archival photo prints on Esatin 300gram paper. This is a beautiful paper with just the right amount of sheen to show the image perfectly! 100% archival inks are used and with 12 color process for perfect colors especially on black and white prints. If borders are added, they will be added to the final dimensions. Example: 8x10 with 1" borders come out to total size of 10x12.

The featured photo was selected to be in the 2020 Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts exhibit.

All images are for sale.
